Digital signage projects as from
2006
"Digital signage" and "narrowcasting"
have become common terms. As to putting them into practice
however, there are numerous solutions and opinions.

In 2006 Inter2Face
made an application for Cultural Centre
Den Blank in Overijse.
Different staff members can each update the content
section that is under their authority. |
Supermarket
GB Partner in Herent had 5 LCD panels
placed at the cash desks. Screen space is arranged
according to pixel relations: daily promotions
or messages, web pages with news flashes, the
weather, a video clip, live images from the butcher's
shop.
Diverse staff members quickly became skilful in
using the medium. They update content centrally
through the local network. |

In the course of 2007, several Directorates-General
of the European Commission have selected
our software for digital signage purposes (announcements
of meetings etc). This involves I2F
MediaDisplay and/or I2F
MediaBrick depending on the need for control.
